ABEX continues to provide these services including national specialty insurance programs. ABEX, is an underwriting manager and MGA of insurance products through brokers across Canada. Location Head Office Personnel James McGregor, BA, CAIB (Honours), CCIB is the Chairman of ABEX. Jim has 39 years experience in executive management, underwriting, and risk management. A major contributor to insurance industry strategic initiatives, Jim is recognized for his development of profitable insurance programs in the institutional, agricultural, manufacturing and hazardous casualty insurance fields. jmcgregor@abexinsurance.com. John Tindale, BA, is the Underwriting Manager and a Named Underwriter of ABEX. John has 37 years experience in the industry with 30 years in the underwriting of construction, professional liability, health, municipal, marine, institutional and manufacturing insurance classes. He is a qualified International Risk Manager. jtindale@abexinsurance.com. JAD McGregor BSc (hons), CIP has over 5 years of insurance industry experience in underwriting, marketing broking and special risk placement facilitation. Jad has first hand knowledge of the London Market having spent a year working as a property broker at Lloyds of London. As the field underwriter for ABEX, Jad bring intimate knowledge of what underwriters are looking for from a risk placement standpoint, which greatly assists our brokers in successfully placing risks with specialty markets.
